Programs That Heal, Connect, and Empower

At YardTime, our programs are built by and for people impacted by incarceration. Each one creates a safe space for healing, growth, and belonging — helping men, women, youth, and seniors rebuild their lives with strength, dignity, and community.

Healing happens when men feel safe enough to just be themselves. This is that place.

Men’s Bowling League

Weekly • Ongoing

What started as a one-time outing has grown into something sacred. Our men’s bowling league gives returning citizens a regular space to laugh, de-stress, and build brotherhood. Every week, men show up to check in, open up, and knock down a few pins—together.

New bowlers always welcome!

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Group

Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM • In-person & via Zoom

Open to men 18+ who have faced incarceration or trauma in Boston’s inner city, this group creates a safe, supportive space to talk openly, heal, and build solidarity. Through peer-led discussions and activities, members connect, share experiences, and strengthen their mental health.

YTE also partners with licensed mental health counselors who guide sessions on vital topics—bringing both professional insight and community trust.
